Short answer

The short answer

Yes. You sign in on the real Steam page, you see every price first, our bot sends the offer to you, and nothing leaves your inventory until you accept it in Steam. You never send anything first.

How to check any offer

  1. Check the address

You should be on tf2.gg, and the sign in page should be steamcommunity.com.

  2. Check the code

Your order page shows a security code. The trade offer must show the same code.

  3. Check the items

Open the offer in Steam and look at both sides before you accept.

What you can check yourself

None of this needs trust. You can see it for yourself.

  • Our prices are public: see what we pay for any item without signing in
  • Sign in happens on the official Steam page, so your password never reaches us
  • Our bot sends the offer to you, and you decide in Steam
  • Every order has a security code that the trade offer must show
  • Live deals show real sales as they happen
  • Reviews from real sellers are on Trustpilot

Where your money goes

There is no balance to hold on the site. Crypto goes straight to your own wallet, and keys come in a Steam trade.

Your order page shows every step, and support@tf2.gg answers if anything looks wrong.

Watch out for fake offers

Scammers copy names and profile pictures. If an offer has no code and you did not start the trade in chat with our bot, decline it. We never ask for your password, your Steam Guard code or your API key.

Questions

Is tf2.gg a scam?

No. Nothing leaves your inventory until you accept an offer you can check in Steam, and you see the price first.

Is tf2.gg part of Valve?

No. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve.

Do I have to send items first?

Never. Our bot sends the offer to you. Anyone who asks you to send first is not us.

Why is the CS2 payout not instant?

Steam lets a seller reverse a CS2 trade for 7 days, so we pay when that ends. Your price is locked when you sell.

What if something goes wrong?

Write to support@tf2.gg with your order code. Your order page keeps the full history.
